About Boho Goods

Boho Goods is a one-person operation. I've been making hemp jewelry since 2000. I taught myself and have enjoyed doing it ever since. I started seriously sewing sometime in 2006, but could never find the time to sew until recently. I sew in whatever spare time I can get my hands on.

As far as payment goes I'll accept trades, paypal and cash. Paypal links are below every item, and if they are not, simply e-mail me and I will provide you with the information. Shipping is already included in the paypal button, so if you are buying multiple items or are not located in the 50 states, please contact me before clicking that button. If you want to make a trade, please send me an e-mail with the item(s) you'd like to trade and I'm sure we can work something out. Cash must be well concealed.

I offer a lifetime repair policy on all my items. If I can fix it, I will, as long as you pay the shipping to me as well as for me to return it to you (i.e. a SASE). If you have an item that you did not buy/trade from me, and I can fix it or put new life into it, please contact me as I'd be happy to discuss it with you and see if I can fix it for you!

I love doing custom items. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact me. If you would like to carry anything you see here in a physical store, please e-mail me to work out details. Stores are welcome to place custom orders as well!

Wash and Care

Bags and Clothing: I recommend washing all of these items in a light cycle. Wash with appropriate colors as they are all made from clothing. Since nothing is new, you shouldn't have a problem with bleeding colors, however, if you get a darker item you may want to wash it a couple times by itself with a teaspoon of salt to make sure the color holds.

Hemp Jewelry: All of the jewelry I make is from new hemp thread, therefore, it's REALLY scratchy if you're not used to the way that feels! If your item does not have beads on it or has plastic beads, I recommend that you put your necklace, bracelet or anklet in the wash a couple times (no bleach of course) to loosen it up, but don't dry it in the dryer, let it air dry. If your item has glass or a charm, I recommend either soaking it in the sink for a couple hours every day in warm water or carrying it around in your pocket for about a week and a half. The way that I wear mind in is to wear it 24/7/365. I shower, swim and live in my jewelry and because of that it fits like a glove! It's whatever you prefer!

About Me

I'm originally from Atlanta (Smyrna), Georgia, where I lived the first 18 years of my life. I currently live in western Tennessee with my fiancee, Jared, our four cats, Bedford, Otis, Bela, Boris and dog, Djinn. All of my items are made in our animal friendly home as I stated on the home page. I have been vegetarian since November of 2002 and strictly vegan since September of 2006. I tutor in the Writing Center at JSCC and I work in a cafe, but I'm trying to make Boho Goods my main source of income!

My favorite past time is photography. I'm currently attending a state community college to get my Associates Degree in History and eventually receive my Masters Degree and/or Ph. D. I'm also minoring in psychology.

Jared and I love to collect old NES and Atari video games. We also have a huge passion for terrible B-Movies (Science-Fiction and Horror mostly) from the 1940s-1980s.
